As a musician and a music educator, I believe this collection will be of great benefit to music educators both in the private setting and in the school music classroom. If you have ever searched for hours in libraries and old textbooks for thematic materials for use in your classrooms, you will really appreciate this collection. The ability to have such a tremendous variety of melodic materials immediately available for use in listening lessons, stylistic demonstrations, era/period demonstrations, Dalcroze movement lessons and for any number of different types of performances should be welcomed by music educators everywhere.
