Josh Swensen is a brilliant but shy 17-year-old high school student who connects with other teens through a Web site he writes under the moniker (1) A name, title or alias. See alias.

Vote For Larry finds Josh in Boulder two years later grooving on the outdoor life with a new love who is a bit flaky flaky - (Or "flakey") Subject to frequent lossage. This use is of course related to the common slang use of the word to describe a person as eccentric, crazy, or just unreliable.  and induces the non-consuming Josh to buy stuff he doesn't really need. Betagold tracks him down, as does Beth. She and her posh new British boyfriend Simon kidnap Josh and take him back to Boston to run for office. The activists decide to go all the way and run for president, even though legally Josh can't even vote. They are so successful that the 28th Amendment is proposed, lowering the presidential age from 35 to 18.

 actor Jesse Eisenberg reads both books at an amazing pace, about as fast as Josh's mind works. His full-voiced presentation is dramatic, funny, satirical, and effective. Both are highly recommended.
