), announces the promotions of three senior officers. David A. Isaac was promoted from president to chief executive officer; Neil L. Zola rose from chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

 and executive vice president to president and chief operating officer; and Karen B. Shaer was promoted from senior vice president, general counsel, and managing director of GCG's Business Reorganization unit to executive vice president and general counsel of GCG.
