The Football Network Scores Carriage Agreement with Time Warner Cable.

BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 2004

TFN, The Football Network, Inc. (OTCBB:TFNK) and Time Warner Cable have agreed to a long term contract which will make the all-football channel available to all of the Time Warner Cable systems throughout the nation. Time Warner Cable is the country's second-largest cable company with 11-million subscribers in 27 states. "This is a very important step for us", says TFN CEO Jerry Solomon, "and one which reinforces how viable The Football Network is to the cable community." The agreement with Time Warner Cable joins others already completed, including Cox Communications, the nation's fourth largest cable operator with 6.2-million subscribers and the National Cable Television Cooperative. NCTC consists of about 1,800 cable providers with nearly 14-million viewers.

"The Football Network brings Time Warner Cable sports fans a wide range of football action spanning multiple leagues and countries," said Time Warner Cable Vice President for Programming, Lynne Costantini. "We are pleased to continually provide our customers added choice and value through our digital television line-up."

The State of Louisiana has been an important partner with TFN. "Time Warner's agreement with TFN demonstrates the long-term potential for The Football Network," said Secretary of Economic Development, Don Hutchinson.

The all-football channel broadcast 70 high school, college, and Canadian Football League games last fall. Through network distribution and syndication these games were available in nearly 80-million homes. TFN also provided studio programming on a wide variety of football topics, from national high school recruiting and college highlight shows to fantasy football. TFN hopes to launch on a full-time basis by late spring from its home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Solomon said, "Football is America's number one game and we plan to become a number one source for the football fan."

The Football Network has recently reached agreement with 2003 national champion LSU to televise a special on the Tigers' spring game. "Spring football, recruiting, the draft, and training camps have made covering football a year-round endeavor and The Football Network plans to be there 24/7.", said the TFN President and CEO.
