The Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers (ETAD), Basel, Switzerland, has appointed Herbert Motschi as executive director.The Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers (ETAD ETAD Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers ETAD Environmental Technology Advancement Directorate (unit of Environment Canada) ETAD Esophageal Tracheal Airway Device ), Basel, Switzerland, has appointed Herbert Motschi as executive director. Prior to joining ETAD in 1991, Dr. Motschi was employed with the safety of dyestuff and chemicals division of Ciba-Geigy AG Ciba-Geigy AG Former Swiss pharmaceutical company formed in 1970 from the merger of Ciba AG and J.R. Geigy SA. Ciba started out in the 1850s as a silk-dyeing business and branched out into pharmaceuticals in 1900, by which time it was the largest chemical company in , Basel. He succeeds Eric Clarke Eric Lionel Clarke (born 9 April 1933) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He served as Labour member of Parliament for Midlothian until he stepped down at the 2001 general election. He had been an opposition whip from 1994 to 1997. who has retired after 26 years with the association. |
