The Donnas 'Take It Off' Takes Off; Group Good to Go on Tour with OK Go as 'SPEND THE NIGHT' Tops College Charts.

With their acclaimed debut Atlantic album, "SPEND THE NIGHT," climbing the charts, and its no-holds-barred first single/video, "Take It Off," garnering riotous reaction -- America's coolest rock outfit, The Donnas, are set to hit the concert trail for a string of early 2003 live shows.

This time out, the Bay Area quartet -- who are currently busy playing a series of December radio shows -- are paired with OK Go, for a string of shows that kick off in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, January 25th, and will hit venues coast to coast through the end of February. Scheduled stops include Seattle, Las Vegas, Dallas, Nashville, Boston, Washington, D.C., and New York, wrapping up at San Francisco's world famous Fillmore on February 26th. Following The Donnas' performance of "Take It Off" on NBC-TV's The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on October 14th, multi-format rock radio outlets nationwide quickly embraced the group and the song - making "Take It Off" both #1 most added at both Active and Mainstream Rock formats, and #2 most added at Alternative radio outlets. "Take It Off" is currently ranked #1 on the CMJ Top 200 chart. "SPEND THE NIGHT" debuted at #1 position on the Billboard "Heatseeker" (New Artist) chart.

"Take It Off" was recently featured in a national radio advertising campaign for Budweiser beer. The companion video to the runaway smash - directed by Robert Hales (Kid Rock, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) - is currently among the most-played clips at both MTV and MTV2, and is "Buzzworthy" at MTV and M2 -- boosted by fans nationwide, who have made it a fixture on MTV's "TRL." The band is scheduled to perform on the request show January 13th, 2003, as well as performing a live five-song mini-concert for MTV2 immediately following.

Since the arrival of "SPEND THE NIGHT" in stores, The Donnas - Donna F./Maya Ford: Bass; Donna C./Torry Castellano: Drums; Donna R./Allison Robertson: Guitars; Donna A./Brett Anderson: Vocals - have also been the subject of a number of features in a variety of national publications, including Vanity Fair, Nylon, Flaunt, Blender and Spin -- who declared, "they just might be the coolest band in America." In addition, The Donnas were among the artists selected for the Rolling Stone 2003 Calendar and Teen People's recent "What's Hot in Music" feature. In their review of "SPEND THE NIGHT," Billboard enthused, "Manic-aggressive and cute to boot, The Donnas are a blast, and 'Spend the Night' is top-drawer pop-punk." The Donnas kicked off their first North American headlining trek the day after the release of "SPEND THE NIGHT." Featuring support from the Campfire Girls and Your Enemies Friends, the tour began at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California, and ended in San Francisco on November 30th. The band has also recently done stints supporting Jimmy Eat World and the Strokes. Rolling Stone magazine has called co-headliners OK Go "the new kings of power pop."
