Government Agency Selects Vodium's Services Group to Lower Training Costs and Accelerate Roll out of Training to Employees

The U.S. Department of the Interior University (DOI University) partnered with Vodium, a provider of software and services for cost-effective, high impact and interactive virtual communications, to deliver its first online multimedia training program to Interior's nationwide workforce.

The entire project, from the start of content development to delivery of the training program online and on CD ROM, was completed in less than 45 days at a fraction of the cost of more traditional classroom-based training.

DOI University's goal is to train all DOI managers and supervisors, representing over 10,000 employees, by the end of September 2003--a task that could not have been accomplished with traditional training delivery. Vodium's platform represented a more viable solution to deliver this important training.

The training fosters and encourages the use of ADR processes in the workplace, in the Department's implementation of the programs under its jurisdiction, and in the Department's contracting and procurement operations.
