In a unanimous show of support by all the Coptic Churches of North America, a relief fund has been established through the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States The Southern United States—commonly referred to as the American South, Dixie, or simply the South—constitutes a large distinctive region in the southeastern and south-central United States.  to help those stricken by this hurricane, and prayers will be offered in all Coptic Churches for the victims of the hurricane.

    The disaster recovery response to Hurricane Katrina included federal government agencies like Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), state and local-level agencies, federal and National Guard soldiers, non-governmental charities, and private individuals.
     Fund, make your check payable to "Diocese of the Southern United States" (indicate on your check that your donation is for the Katrina Fund) and mail it to:
