The Century Plaza Hotel and Tower introduces ''Cyber Suite'': A glimpse of the future today.


LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1996--The future is here today at the Century Plaza Hotel The Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles is a landmark 19-story luxury hotel forming a sweeping crescent design fronting the spectacular fountains on Avenue of the Stars adjacent to the twin Century Plaza Towers.  and Tower!

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Century Plaza has introduced the ``Cyber Suite,'' a totally ``futuristic'' environment designed to showcase the innovative technologies that will lead the landmark hotel Hotels called the Landmark Hotel, or something similar, include:
  • The Landmark London, formerly the Great Central Hotel
  • The Landmark Hotel and Casino, a hotel-casino in Las Vegas, Nevada that was imploded in 1995.
 into the 21st century. Scheduled for completion June 1996, the Cyber Suite is the only guestroom of its kind in the hotel industry.

As the Century Plaza looks ahead to the future, the creation of the Cyber Suite solidifies its position as a pioneer and will continue to maintain the hotel at the forefront of the industry. The 2,100-square-foot suite features numerous state-of-the-art systems, many of which are not currently available to the public.

This unique ``futuristic'' concept is a collaborative effort between the Century Plaza and several leading corporations. The introduction of the following innovative technologies is just a sampling of what will eventually become industry standards to accommodate business travelers in the 21st century:
