The Caribbean International Literary Festival Saturday, June 16; 4:00 P.M. The Brooklyn Public Library and the Trinidad & Tobago Working Women's Association celebrate the expansive and indispensible literary history of writers of Caribbean descent, including Nicole Blades, Glenville Lovell, Elizabeth Nunez Elizabeth Nunez is a novelist, distinguished professor of English, and chair of the English Department at Medgar Evers College–CUNY, in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Nunez is also cofounder of the National Black Writer's Conference.  and Eisa Nefertari Ulen.
