The Car Security Market Increased by 8% to Reach 132,7 Million Euros in the Top Five European Countries.

, Ireland -- Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c39286) has announced the addition of Car Security in Europe 2006 to their offering.

Car Security in Europe 2006: Car Security Systems Worth 132,7 Millions - 2005

The value of the car security systems market in the Europe Top 5 (UK, Italy, France, Spain and Germany) in 2005 reached 132,7 million euros in turnover, which represents a 8,0% increase from the previous year, and it is forecasted to continue with an upward trend. The main reason for that trend is the increase in sales for remote security systems which cost around ten times more that a compact or modular alarm.

While the value of the market has increased the quantity of units sold has decreased by -1,5%. In the last year less alarms, the main product in the business, have been sold. In some cases the customers look for more sophisticate product like remote security systems and in others they just prefer to buy a new car which fit a common alarm.

Price indexes for car accessories change a lot from one product to an other. On one hand, the remote security systems have rise their prices. On the other hand, alarms and parking systems have the some prices from previous years.
