The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care's Fourth Annual ''Betting On A Cause & A Cure'' Fundraiser Returns to Cambridge.


BOSTON -- Star-Studded Celebrity Monte Carlo Monte Carlo (môNtā` kärlō`), town (1982 pop. 13,150), principality of Monaco, on the Mediterranean Sea and the French Riviera.  Night Will Once Again Take Place at The Charles Hotel in Historic Harvard Square Harvard Square is a large triangular area in the center of Cambridge, Massachusetts, at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue, Brattle Street, and John F. Kennedy Street.  

The Cam Neely Cameron "Cam" Michael Neely (born June 6, 1965, in Comox, British Columbia) played right wing in the National Hockey League from 1983 to 1996. He is currently the Vice President of the Boston Bruins.  Foundation for Cancer Care will host its fourth annual "Betting On A Cause & A Cure" Monte Carlo-style charity event at The Charles Hotel, Harvard Square, in Cambridge on Saturday, January 28, 2006. The evening will be hosted by Paulina and Cam Neely, with special guests Denis Denis, king of Portugal: see Diniz.  Leary and Michael J. Fox. The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care, The Leary Firefighters Foundation The Leary Firefighters Foundation (LFF) provides funding and equipment to fire departments throughout the United States.

On December 3, 1999, six firefighters in Worcester, Massachusetts were killed in the Worcester Cold Storage Warehouse fire, a massive fire set by
 and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research will split proceeds from the event. The event will also feature an exclusive music performance by national recording artist Gavin DeGraw.

"I know that these causes have a very personal connection to everyone involved, as well as for our families, and we are forever grateful for the support we receive. Events like this allow our organizations to benefit from the charitable spirit of the community as well as help raise awareness around these important causes."

This year's black-tie Monte Carlo weekend, which has raised more than $2.2 million since the first event in 2003, will be another extravagant affair. Bryan Rafanelli of Rafanelli Events will once again provide his design and decor expertise, transforming the hotel's ballroom into a lively casino. Guests will receive flutes of champagne as they arrive, then savor an elegant buffet dinner with fine wines prepared by the hotel's celebrated chefs.

In the casino, guests may roll the dice and play cards with celebrity dealers for prizes including a 2006 Dodge Charger There have been many different Dodge vehicles, on three different platforms, bearing the Charger nameplate.
