new chairman for the 2003-2004 term. Johl has served on the board since
its inception in 1996, most recently as vice chairman. A veteran peach
farmer since 1976, he also serves as director of the California Canning
Peach Association and vice chair of the Northern California Northern California, sometimes referred to as NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The region contains the San Francisco Bay Area, the state capital, Sacramento; as well as the substantial natural beauty of the redwood forests, the northern Growers
Association.
