Coronation Street Coronation Street is an award-winning British soap opera. It is the longest-running television soap opera in the United Kingdom, first broadcast on Friday, 9 December, 1960 in the Granada region of ITV.  LAST week I said someone should give Sally a slap, but she's the one who's lashing out in the first of a Friday double bill when daughter Rosie has the nerve to do badly in her drama school audition.

Robert also changes his mind, begging Katie to take him back but she angrily tells him he blew his chance. If Shadrach is going to take the rap for the whisky theft, he's making Zak pay. He demands a date on his last night of freedom but when Steph doesn't play ball, he does a runner.
