Intelliden Software Will Reduce Costs and Provide More Secure Network

Intelliden Corporation, the intelligent networking company, today announced that The Boeing Company, the world's largest producer of commercial jetliners, military aircraft and satellites, has licensed the Intelliden R-Series(TM) software solution for a prototype of its next-generation intranet.

The Intelliden R-Series software will provide Boeing with configuration and control software for securely and reliably connecting the company's 156,000 employees in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The Intelliden R-Series software suite uses business policies to manage changes in the network. It enables Boeing to define business rules that govern how a configuration is constructed and how changes are verified, approved, installed and deployed. Additionally, it provides Boeing with the flexibility to define different business rules to match the specific ways that various parts of the company access the intranet.
