The Benaroya Company Acquires Technology Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon.

SEATTLE -- The Benaroya Company today announced the purchase of a state-of-the-art technology complex located at 25300 N.W. Evergreen Road in the Sunset Corridor area of Hillsboro, Oregon from The Park Company LLC of Oregon. The $22 million transaction includes more than 400,000 square feet on 46 acres and includes clean rooms, crystal growing areas and office space.

Originally designed to manufacture silicon wafers for semiconductors, this highly-equipped and technologically advanced facility is available for lease to technology, biotech/biopharmaceutical, solar, aerospace, and research and development companies. The Benaroya Company will launch a re-branding effort which will include announcing a new name for the complex and also plans to add new amenities and retail space on the site.
