Two-time Saskatchewan award-winner Leona Theis presents The Art of Salvage, is a complex novel about the distance between mother and daughter. When nineteen-year-old Delorie leaves her parents' small-town home for the big city, an unexpected pregnancy upends her dreams; she responds by renouncing her rights to her daughter, Amber. Amber collects a hoard of souvenirs, and builds a mobile from them to represent herself. The Art of Salvage is an introspective in·tro·spect
