The American Red Cross and the Pasadena Fire Department will
host a joint news conference with experts who will provide
life-saving tips for the 2007 Memorial Day holiday weekend
including: water safety, preventing drunk driving; brush
clearance for hillside residents (wildfire safety); first aid
for burn victims; and what law enforcement officials are
planning to ensure Southland streets and highways safe as the
unofficial start of summer kicks off.
