Contraction serves the same purpose but is understood strictly to be the shortening of a word by cutting out letters in the middle, like LGBT LGBT Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or GLBTQ GLBTQ Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer GLBTQ Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Questioning , etc., should replace use of the phrase gay and lesbian?
