Sudhari Sahu, manager of metallurgical and technical services, Waukesha Foundry Co., Inc., Waukesha, Wisconsin Waukesha [ˈwɑkəˌʃɑ] is a city in and the county seat of Waukesha CountyGR6, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2000 census, Waukesha had a total population of 64,826. , was recognized "for his contributions in expanding and promoting new uses of copper alloys Copper alloys are alloys with Copper as their principial component. They have high resistance to corrosion.

Due to its high electric conductivity, pure electrolytic copper is used mostly for making of electrical cables.
 through the development of new lead-free copper alloys for use in dairy and bearing applications." An AFS A distributed file system for large, widely dispersed Unix and Windows networks from Transarc Corporation, now part of IBM. It is noted for its ease of administration and expandability and stems from Carnegie-Mellon's Andrew File System.

 member since 1976, Sahu has been active in the Copper Alloy Div. and Steel Div. He also is a member of ASM (1) (Association for Systems Management) An international membership organization based in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1947 and disbanded in 1996, it sponsored conferences in all phases of administrative systems and management.  International and the Steel Founders' Society of America. Baltasar R. Weiss, facilities engineering/manufacturing engineering manager, Caterpillar, Inc., Mapleton, Illinois Mapleton is a village in Peoria County, Illinois, United States. The population was 227 at the 2000 census. Mapleton is part of the Greater Peoria MSA. There is a Degussa chemical plant and a Caterpillar Tractor facility in Mapleton along U.S. Route 24. , was recognized "for his leadership in developing and promoting the production and use of compacted graphite iron as well as his work with the AFS Cast Iron Division and the AFS Central Illinois Chapter." An AFS member since 1974, Weiss is active within the Cast Iron Div.'s Program and Papers Committee and Awards and Advisory Committee. He also is a member of the Charge Materials Committee and ASM International. Doru Michael Stefa nescu, professor, Univ. of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was recognized "for his research involving cast iron solidification modeling, inoculation inoculation, in medicine, introduction of a preparation into the tissues or fluids of the body for the purpose of preventing or curing certain diseases. The preparation is usually a weakened culture of the agent causing the disease, as in vaccination against  and cooling curve analysis as well as work with aluminum alloys and cast metal matrix composites." A member of ASM International, the Minerals, Metals and Materials Society and the Ductile Iron Research Committee, Stefanescu has served as director, vice president and president of the AFS Birmingham Chapter. Richard B. Gundlach, president, Climax Research Services, Farmington Hills, Michigan Farmington Hills is the most populous city in Oakland County of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a suburb of Detroit and is known for it's affluence, excellent schools, great housing stock, luxury homes and a center of business in Oakland County and Metro Detroit. , was recognized "for his work in advancing the technology and use of cast iron and his ready willingness to share his in-depth knowledge with the entire foundry industry." An AFS member since 1969, Gundlach was a recipient of the Howard F. Taylor Award and two Best Paper Awards in the AFS Gray Iron Div. Currently, he is on the board of directors of the AFS Detroit Chapter and the Ductile Iron Society, and a member of ASM International.
