Thales has been selected as prime contractor to deliver and integrate a tactical reconnaissance capability to the Luxembourg Army's KMW Dingo 2 vehicles. Under this contract, for an undisclosed amount, Thales will deliver 48 vehicles by end-2010. The vehicles will be equipped with the Protector turret from Kongsberg, a complete observation system, a C4I system; all interconnected via an open electronic architecture called the Open Information Communication System.
