Thales Underwater Systems.


Thales Underwater Systems has signed an AU$ 22.9 million upgrade contract with Australia's Defence Material Organisation that specifies Thales' providing a new suite of data processors and sonar displays as part of the SEA1439 Replacement Combat System project for the Australian Navy's six Collins class submarines. Thales will integrate its Scylla sonar interface display-processing engine with the existing Scylla sonar arrays.
