) today announced that it has named Nalini Ranjan (N.R.) Mohanty chairman and managing director of Textron India Pvt. Ltd, a new organization charged with accessing India's rapidly growing and diverse markets. In this role, Mohanty will report to newly appointed Textron Senior Vice President, International and Marketing, R. Siisi Adu-Gyamfi, and will be responsible for advancing Textron's globalization globalization

Process by which the experience of everyday life, marked by the diffusion of commodities and ideas, is becoming standardized around the world. Factors that have contributed to globalization include increasingly sophisticated communications and transportation
 strategy within the region, as well as overseeing business development and market expansion efforts for Textron companies in India.

Mohanty will work closely with Textron's functional and business unit leaders to identify new opportunities and expand global growth in this region. He also will manage the enterprise business development staff in India to ensure success.
