Textron Marine & Land has delivered the first six of a dozen re-powered Commando V-150 combat vehicles to the Philippine Marine Corps. This event, under a $ 3.1 million contract, is part of the Philippines Armed Forces Modernization programme, which calls for upgrading the V-150 with a powerpack similar to the US Army's M1117--ASV. The remaining vehicles should have been delivered by the time these words are read.
