Texas HMO Membership Continues Downward Trend While PPO Membership Increases, According to New Research From Healthleaders-Interstudy.

   * Proposals to remove health insurance mandates and to restore cuts made
     in the state's health programs for poor people are among the healthcare
     issues coming before the current Texas Legislature.

     coverage. Premiums are $85 a month and can be paid by an aunt, uncle or
