, president and chief executive officer of TBLG, said the decision to implement credit application decision support technology like BizMark resulted from the company's upward growth pattern and need for consistent, centralized underwriting for small commercial loans.

"We were formed in August 2005 with four owners and have quickly grown to six member institutions. Since our focus is serving the commercial and business lending needs of business owners and non-profit organizations in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas, we needed automated lending technology that created a reliable and efficient underwriting model for our small commercial loans," Campbell said. "Cypress and BizMark were the answer. We expect their software to increase the quantity and quality of small business loans made by our institutions, while greatly reducing decision turnaround time (1) In batch processing, the time it takes to receive finished reports after submission of documents or files for processing. In an online environment, turnaround time is the same as response time.  and increasing member satisfaction."

BizMark went live at TBLG in January 2007, and the CUSO will provide a centralized small business lending system to its institutions through the organization's Fort Worth headquarters.

BizMark processes small business loan applications, and is based on a Cypress-delivered .NET/Microsoft SQL Server platform. It runs in a customer relationship management (CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization. ) environment, enabling lenders to take credit requests including principal and financial statement data; retrieve and interpret consumer and business credit reports; perform ratio analysis; and score the results. The software handles small business commercial credit requests for lines of credit, term loans, commercial mortgages, corporate leases and corporate credit cards.

"This is a big win for Cypress and a significant step in the direction of our company," said Stephen G. Sargent, president and chief executive officer of Cypress Software Systems. "Since our inception in 2000, we've provided our consumer and small business lending solutions primarily to banking and financial institutions. As we continue our foray into the credit union industry, we will supply these organizations with the technology and professional services needed to optimize their lending processes, increase member satisfaction and reduce costs."
