Teva Announces Tentative Approval of Simvastatin Tablets.

 for Simvastatin simvastatin /sim·va·stat·in/ (sim´vah-stat?in) an antihyperlipidemic agent that acts by inhibiting cholesterol synthesis, used in the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and other forms of dyslipidemia and to lower the risks associated  Tablets USP USP - unique sales point , 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg and 80 mg.

Upon final approval, Teva's Simvastatin Tablets will be the AB-rated generic equivalent of Merck's Zocor(R) Tablets, a product indicated for the treatment of high cholesterol Cholesterol, High Definition
