(Nasdaq: TEVA) announced today that the U. S. Food and Drug Administration has granted tentative approval for the company's ANDA ANDA

 for Gabapentin Tablets, 600 mg and 800 mg. Annual sales of the brand product are approximately $662 million.

Teva's tentative approval is in addition to the tentative approval that the company's ANDA for Gabapentin Capsules, 100 mg, 300 mg, and 400 mg received on August 7, 2003.

Gabapentin Tablets are the AB-rated generic equivalent of Pfizer's Neurontin(R) Tablets.
