The majority of the new work will focus on the Clean Trucks Program jointly developed by the ports under the San Pedro Bay Ports Clean Air Action Plan. The program is designed to reduce truck air pollution at the ports by 80 percent by 2012. Tetra Tech will provide administrative, technical, and environmental support for the truck fleet modernization effort. Tetra Tech is also providing technical assistance to both ports under recently awarded air quality services, environmental assessment, and remediation contracts.
