NEXGEN offers balers that produce cost-saving results because the company's designers, engineers and fabricators design, test and build machines that break new ground in baling technology.

"From the beginning, designing machines that offer economy over the operating life of the baler has been critical to us," says Jim Cunningham, Director of Engineering.

Rising global energy costs also have recyclers eyeing this expense, and NEXGEN designers anticipated this demand for energy efficiency. "We design balers that operate at a higher pressure and use less horsepower," says Cunningham. "The combination of those two things makes for a more energy-efficient baler."

The NEXGEN engineering team works closely with customers to design balers that not only lower operating costs, but are also sturdy, easy-to-use and have high-tech features. NEXGEN Product Manager Steve Seagraves adds, "We use the best materials available, such as our wear liner materials, which are the best in the business."

While productive, NEXGEN machines are also easy to use. The color touchscreen is a standard feature and very easy to understand. "The fact that we use the same touchscreen across all model lines makes it ideal for operators with multiple locations."

NEXGEN customers benefit from the extensive product testing performed at the company's testing center in Alabama. "Gaining performance knowledge during the testing phase allows us to produce top-quality equipment," says Seagraves.

The testing center also allows NEXGEN to work with customers to test bale material, ensuring the right machine for the right application.

The end result is a line of easy-to-use balers with minimal downtime to save money on operating costs. "Our goal is to be the best and we work tirelessly every day to meet that goal. Most importantly, our customers tell us we're on the right track."
