Terremark and By-Light Exclusive to Northrop Grumman Corporation's Winning Team for Technology Development

MIAMI -- Terremark Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMRK), a leading provider of managed IT infrastructure services, and its partner By-Light Professional Services, a provider of engineering expertise for securing government IT networks and facilities, today announced it is an exclusive member and the only telecom services provider on the Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) team that was awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Department of Defense to provide technology development application for new products and services to defense and federal civilian agencies, state and local authorities, and partner nations engaged in counter-drug and counter-narcoterrorism (CNT) operations.

Northrop Grumman's team was one of five chosen to compete for task orders that will be funded by a total program ceiling of $15 billion over five years. These funds and the contract will be administered by the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala.

Terremark and its partner serve as Northrop Grumman's only telecom services provider under the contract for Technology Insertion, Systems Integration and Systems Engineering, Product Data, Information Fusion Centers, IT Networks, Configuration Management, Studies and Analysis, Information Technology (IT) and Communications, and Network Development and Deployment.
