The mandate of the newly formed advisory board will be to support Terra Nostra's research and development efforts relative to the corporation's existing and emerging product line. The newly appointed advisory board members are Dr. Jose Valero, Dr. Silvia Todorova and Mr. Mark Fournier. Dr. Jose Valero, Ph.D has accepted the role of Chairman of the advisory board. Dr. Valero has enjoyed a distinguished career in scientific research for the Canadian Forestry Service. He has co-authored and/or authored over 90 scientific publications in the field of microbiology of insects. Over the years, Dr. Valero has received many prestigious awards from various organizations including the Mexican Sanitary and Environmental Sciences Department, Forestry Canada, and the Quebec Biologists Association, for his scientific research on viral bio-insecticides in forestry to combat the gypsy moth. Dr. Valero is expected to play a major role in guiding the development of the corporation, as well as an active part in the development and production of bio-insecticides. Dr. Valero obtained a B.Sc. (Biology), a Masters Degree in Medical Microbiology and a Ph.D in Microbiology from the University of Laval, Quebec.
