Terra Industries Inc.

Terra Industries Inc., Sioux City, Iowa, appoints Daniel D. Greenwell to vice president and controller. Greenwell's responsibilities include all internal and external financial reporting, budgeting, analysis and internal accounting controls. Greenwell, a certified public accountant, earned a B.S. in accounting from Truman State University in 1985. He began his career with KPMG in St. Louis with a two-year tour of duty in the Netherlands Antilles. In 1992 he joined Sigma Chemical Corporation as operations manager and was subsequently named controller. He joined Zoltek Companies Inc. in 1996 as chief financial officer and in 2001 joined Belden CDT Inc. in St. Louis as its corporate controller.
