Terra Holdings purchase creates city's biggest luxury firm.

With five offices and more than 100 brokers, Dunemere Associates was attractive to the Terra Holdings executives for its high-end status, large size and excellent reputation.

Dunemere Associates will take on the well-known name of Brown Harris Stevens.

The acquisition reinforces Brown Harris Stevens' position as the largest privately held real estate firm in New York City and Palm Beach, Florida Palm Beach is an incorporated town in Palm Beach County, Florida. The Intracoastal Waterway separates it from the neighboring cities of West Palm Beach and Lake Worth. As of 2000, Palm Beach had a year-round population of 10,468, with an estimated seasonal population of 30,000.  as well as propels the firm to be the premier residential brokerage firm in the Hamptons

Brown Harris Stevens, owned by Terra Holdings and established in 1873, is known throughout the New York Metropolitan area New York–Northern New Jersey–Long Island is the most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the third most populous in the world, after Tokyo and Mexico City.  for its high-end properties and reliable, confidential service.

In addition to the six offices in manhattan and on Long Island Brown Harriss Stevens also has two offices in Palm Beach, Florida, where the firm has a tremendous presence, and an office in Winter Park, Florida Winter Park is a city in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 24,090 at the 2000 census. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2006 estimates, the city had a population of 28,083. .
