Tensile tester.

The Lab Master tensile tester is featured in company literature. The Lab Master tensile tester is said to provide precise, repeatable measurement of compression, elongation elongation, in astronomy, the angular distance between two points in the sky as measured from a third point. The elongation of a planet is usually measured as the angular distance from the sun to the planet as measured from the earth. , peel, stress-relaxation and tensile measurements up to 250 lbf., and resolution to 0.01 lbf. in 250 lbf. Thousands of data points per test are used to generate force/distance curves and perform calculations that document the material's behavior during testing. Applications include adhesives, electronics, film, foil, medical products. nonwovens, paper, plastic, rubber, textiles, wire and more. Features include an integral Windows PC An x86-based computer that runs some version of Windows. See x86 and Windows.  and touchscreen flat panel display A thin display screen for computer and TV usage. The first flat panels appeared on laptop computers in the mid-1980s, and the LCD technology became the standard. Stand-alone LCD screens became available for desktop computers in the mid-1990s and exceeded sales of CRTs for the first time  in a compact, network-ready unit. Included is Test Method Wizard software for fast test set-up. Test results are graphed and display the calculated values. (Testing Machines testing machine

Machine used in materials science to determine the properties of a material. Machines have been devised to measure tensile strength, strength in compression, shear, and bending (see strength of materials), ductility, hardness, impact strength (
