information such as phone records, Internet chatroom postings, banking information, and other data is imperative to the uncovering terrorist activity - yet U.S. personnel are often required to jump through hoops to get the information they need, working off of several different kiosks," said Sam Maccherola, president of Tenix America. "Tenix and NYTOR's combined capabilities allow personnel to work effectively from one computer, saving a tremendous amount of time and money, and ultimately lives."

Tenix's ILS suite consists of a Data Diode, Keyboard Switch See key switch and KVM switch.  and data pump applications, allowing highly-classified first responders and warfighters to analyze and share data safely from classified to non-secure networks, such as the Internet, from one workstation. This addresses one of the most critical challenges facing government today, as information with varying levels of classification must be housed on distinct networks as a security precaution. The integration of NYTOR's E1000 enables the end user to display the multiple networks simultaneously by combining layers of security in a thin client. NYTOR's TMN Solution, combined with Microsoft's Windows XP embedded An enhanced version of Windows XP for compact applications such as PDAs, handhelds and other appliances that use the x86 CPU. "The impact for highly-cleared personnel on a day-to-day basis is tremendous," said H. J. "Mitch" Mitchell, NYTOR's chief operations officer. "For example, users for the first time can reply to unclassified e-mail or view CNN CNN

The high speed connection provided by Tenix's ILS suite makes the real-time, one-way movement of data between multiple security enclaves as quick and easy as moving files within or across a Local Area Network (LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. The "clients" are the user's workstations typically running Windows, although Mac and Linux clients are also used. ). This capability, combined with NYTOR's E1000, reduces total infrastructure costs and greatly enhances productivity.
