Tenet Names CEOs at two Gulf Coast Facilities; Phillip Sowa Named CEO at Meadowcrest Hospital; Micheal Terry Named CEO at Gulf Coast Medical Center.


NEW ORLEANS -- Tenet's Texas-Gulf Coast Region today announced that Phillip Sowa was named chief executive officer for Meadowcrest Hospital in Gretna, La., effective May 9 and Micheal Terry was named chief executive officer for Gulf Coast Medical Center in Biloxi, Miss., effective May 16.

"Both Phil and Micheal will make excellent additions to these Gulf Coast hospitals. Each brings over 20 years of solid experience and proven background in hospital operations, strategic planning and medical staff development," said Robert L. Smith Robert L. Smith was a Republican politician from Idaho. Smith was the 1974 Republican nominee for the United States Senate seat in Idaho. He was defeated by Democratic incumbent Frank Church.

Terry holds both a bachelor of science and a masters degree in business administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.
