Tenants set trend relocating from midtown to downtown.


Over the past six months, Downtown Manhattan has experienced a flurry of leasing activity as many mid-size tenants have relocated their offices from Midtown mid·town

Recent examples of this trend are Stern & Montana and FD. Morgan Walke, two firms that have made the move from the Grand Central district to Downtown addresses.

The New York-based law firm, Stern & Montana committed to 27,000 square feet of space at 115 Broadway, a 21-story office tower located in the Financial District and owned by Capital Properties.

Stern & Montana will relocate its corporate law office to the 20th and 21st floors of the building from 295 Madison Avenue Madison Avenue, celebrated street of Manhattan, borough of New York City. It runs from Madison Square (23d St.) to the Madison Bridge over the Harlem River (138th St.). In the 1940s and 50s, some of the major U.S. , in a significant expansion from 8,000 square feet of space. In a second transaction demonstrating this trend, Mr. Foster and Douglas Dolgoff represented sublessor Banco Atlantico at 88 Pine Street, in a 16,000-square-foot, eight-and-a-half-year sublease sublease n. the lease of all or a portion of premises by a tenant who has leased the premises from the owner.
