Tenant expands at University Plaza

Cortland Financial Services recently signed a lease for an additional 3,300 square feet of office space at University Plaza, a 475,000-square-foot office development on the Hackensack campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University. The financial services firm now holds over 7,100 square feet in University Plaza III, the newest and largest of the three buildings in the development.

Cortland Financial Services, a wholesale broker/dealer for mutual funds and a division of Reich & Tang, will continue to perform back office operations for their New York office from the first floor of University Plaza III, according to Richard Baumstein, senior director, Thomas A. Reilly, associate director, and Jon Meisel, the Cushman & Wakefield brokerage team that represented both the landlord and the tenant in the transaction.

Fairleigh Dickinson University is the owner of the development, which is being managed by Hampshire Management Company of Hackensack, New Jersey. Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive leasing agent.
