 Board of Registration for Social Workers by an order-in-council An Order-in-Council is a type of legislation in Commonwealth Realms. In the United Kingdom this legislation is formally made in the name of the Queen by the Privy Council (Queen-in-Council . The board was established to regulate the practice of registered social workers and to ensure accountability of the profession to the people of British Columbia.

The majority of board members are registered social workers; two are laypersons who represent the public interest. The board meets six times a year to develop policy, approve standards and implement strategies to maintain a high standard of social-work practice.

Ray Chapman
    Raymond Johnson Chapman (January 15, 1891 – August 17, 1920) was an American baseball player, spending his entire career as a shortstop for Cleveland.
