According to the National Sleep Foundation, two-thirds of Americans say their partner snores. In most cases, this snoring not only affects the sleep quality of the person who snores, but it also creates restless sleep for their partner. A total of 48 snorers participated in the study with their sleep partners. During the test period, the number of partners of snorers who reported trouble sleeping because of a partner's snoring dropped to 31 percent - a reduction of approximately 67 percent.
