A high-protein food of Indonesian origin made from partially cooked, fermented soybeans.

, the first tempeh made with high protein organic Edamame Edamame is a preparation of immature soybeans in the pod commonly found in China and Japan. The pods are boiled in water together with condiments such as salt, and served whole.  soybeans. This Veggie variety is sweeter than normal soy tempeh and makes a great addition to stir-fries and sandwiches. So far, the new Veggie Tempeh is only available on the West Coast, but there has been interest among nationwide distributors.
