County revenues.EXECUTIVE SUMMARY VOLT Services Group and Adecco Adecco S.A. is the largest human resources company in the world, based in Glattbrugg, Switzerland. The company was formed in 1996 as a result of the merger of the French company Ecco and the Swiss Adia Interim, and currently has over 6600 offices in over 75 countries worldwide. USA Inc. remained No. 1 and No. 2 on this year's list of the largest temporary placement firms as ranked by 2006 L.A. County revenues. The 25 largest firms place an average of 15,635 temporary workers weekly in the county. Those workers receive a salary of $8.50 and up depending upon the type of work performed. Skilled workers such as engineers or software designers can receive $40-$50 per hour. Overall, the firms reported $746 million in local revenues for 2006, up $28 million from the previous year. They employ 1,276 workers as recruiters and other office staff full-time full-time adj. They have 112 offices locally and more than 8,000 worldwide. Several companies might have qualified for this list, but are not on it because they declined to disclose local revenues, a requirement for listing.
