The Templar Corporation, a leading provider of information sharing solutions, today announced that it has been selected as the exclusive provider of data sharing The ability to share the same data resource with multiple applications or users. Templar's Informant product is at the core of CapWIN's information sharing capabilities. Using the product's intelligent query to share data from multiple disparate data sources, Informant allows authorized users of CapWIN to not only retrieve information their own databases and state repository, but also from other participating jurisdictions.

By making more information available, CapWIN and Informant will increase situational awareness and the safety of the officers.
