Summus, Inc. (USA) (OTCBB: SUMU), a developer of applications and information processing tools that optimize the wireless multimedia experience, today announced that it has signed a service agreement with Telstra Corporation (ASX: TLS), Australia's leading wireless carrier, to offer customers three applications developed for QUALCOMM's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless(TM) (BREW)(TM) platform.

The launch represents Summus' first international deployment of its applications.

At launch, the billiards game Nineball(TM), developed by Summus and ZIO Interactive, will be one of only two applications to be preloaded to the Samsung Rainbow handset. exego(TM) and Ultimate Golf Challenge(TM), will also be available to Telstra customers to download over the air to their devices. Ultimate Golf Challenge, developed by Summus and ZIO Interactive, is a fun, easy to learn mobile golf game. exego lets subscribers access, share and transfer all types of photos, files and multimedia to and from any location in the world. exego now comes with the new BlueFuel(TM) image solution for crystal clear images and a "save to wallpaper" function. exego, Nineball and Ultimate Golf Challenge are powered by BlueFuel, Summus' Superfast, Superthin(TM) mobile platform tailored for efficient and easy interaction with information in the mobile environment.

Telstra, with over 6 million subscribers, has the largest share of the market. Telstra is the first wireless provider in Australia to deploy data services based on QUALCOMM's BREW(TM) solution. Telstra's Mobile Loop service launched nationally on March 27, 2003.
