Television: Dales' rat Andy dumps schoolgirl mum Debbie.

The sound of a breaking heart echoes across Emmerdale this week.

Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) finally tells the schoolgirl mother of his baby, Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb), that despite promising to stand by her he doesn't love her.

As you might expect, it goes down badly and a bitter Debbie tells him if he doesn't want her, then he can't have their baby Sarah either and threatens to put her up for adoption.

The rest of the Dingle clan persuade her to keep the baby but Andy is left looking over his shoulder as Debbie's dad, violent villain Cain (Jeff Hordley), vows vengeance.

Revenge also dominates EastEnders as Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) tells the Queen Vic's killer landlady Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) she knows about her hand in the death of Dirty Den (Leslie Grantham) - causing her to turn to drink.

In Coronation Street, a birthday party for Jamie Baldwin (Rupert Hill) becomes a nightmare when his mother Carol (Lynne Pearson) turns up drunk and accuses ex-husband Danny (Bradley Walsh) and new wife Frankie (Debra Stephenson) of ruining her life - and lets slip about Danny's secret visit to see her, much to Frankie's dismay.

In Family Affairs, pregnant Trish Wallace's (Gabrielle Glaister) manipulative behaviour leads to a catfight between Eileen Callan (Rosie Rowell) and her best friend Chrissy Costello (Kazia Pelka).

Hollyoaks sees Jake Dean (Kevin Sacre) get down on one knee to propose to Becca Hayton (Ali Bastian) - while he's dressed as a knight.

In Home and Away, Hayley Lawson (Rebecca Cartwright) is fighting for her life when she is caught in a deadly house fire.

And in River City, Alice Henderson (Lorraine McIntosh) hits the bottle again after catching the full force of son Deek's (Gordon McCorkell) anger when she misses their dinner date
