For the first time, the new Flip4Mac components enable Macintosh OS X users to make, edit, and play Windows Media from within QuickTime-based media applications. Windows Media files can also be converted to other formats using compression tools like Sorenson Squeeze Sorenson Squeeze is a compression suite for video. It is currently in Version 4.5 for Windows (not Vista) and Mac. It allows multiple formats including QuickTime, Windows Media and Flash Video. It uses multiple codecs such as Sorenson 3 Pro, H.264, H.263, and many others.  and other QuickTime-based applications. WMV Player and Player Pro support Windows Media 7, 8, and 9. For the Mac professional, WMV Player Pro makes it far easier to accept client work in the Windows Media format, edit or convert it, and then return it to the client in any supported QuickTime format, including Windows Media.
