) announced today that it has acquired the assets of Taut Inc., an innovative provider of instruments and devices for minimally invasive surgical procedures. The business will become part of Teleflex Medical, a division of Teleflex Incorporated with 2005 revenues of over $830 million. In 2005, Taut's annual revenues for these product lines were approximately $10 million. Teleflex is currently a distributor of Taut products in Europe. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
