Telecom and Defense Sector Veteran Appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors; Company Moves Headquarters to Northern Virginia.

WAHSINGTON -- fSONA Systems, the preferred provider of optical wireless solutions for the military and homeland security markets, today announced at the Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) Worldwide Conference in Philadelphia that former Harris Corporation MCD President Samuel D. Wyman III has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Wyman is a specialist on domestic and international telecommunications and information technology, critical defense infrastructure, aerospace, and domestic and international merger and acquisitions.

He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the Community Learning and Information Network, Inc., (CLN) a not for profit Washington DC "think tank" which is under contract to support the Department of Defense. He is providing consulting services for the Department of Defense on various information technology (IT) issues.

Mr. Wyman is a Member of the Board of Global Connect LLC, a consulting firm specializing in providing solutions to critical infrastructure problems (telecommunications, electric power generation and IT) for industry and government customers including strategic planning and management consulting.

Mr. Wyman has held senior executive positions, with both public and private companies including assignments as President of Harris Corporation's Microwave Communications Division, President of Harris Canada, Vice President and General Manager of two of the three divisions of Digital Microwave (now known as Stratex Networks), Principal at Booz Allen and Hamilton, Vice President for Systems with BEI Defense Corporation and Director of Conventional Defense Initiatives for General Dynamics.

Mr. Wyman graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. degree in engineering and later earned a M.S.O.R. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was a combat helicopter pilot in Vietnam.
