Telecom Industry Veteran Yousef Javadi Appointed President and Chief Operating Officer for NexTone; Former Sprint Executive to Help Drive Expansion of Industry-Leading Session Management Company.

Javadi will work with NexTone's chairman and CEO, Malik Khan, in driving the next phase of the company's growth and market expansion in the session management space. As part of his new role, Javadi will oversee NexTone's global sales; marketing; business development and alliances; and operation efforts.

Javadi joins NexTone with an extensive history in the telecommunications industry, having most recently served as the co-founder and principal of Potomac Venture Partners where he specialized in new venture start-ups in telecom, including Internet service providers (ISPs), equipment vendors, and wireless companies. Prior to Potomac Venture Partners, Javadi served as the president of Sprint International, where he was responsible for running all of the corporation's businesses, including its wholly-owned network and service offerings, investments, alliances, and voice and data interconnect relationships outside of the U.S. Javadi also held executive positions with Primus Telecom, GE Capital Service, MCI, and Overseas Telecom Inc. He holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
